It has been a long time since the NBA 2K franchise has graced our screens. The last entry, NBA 2K22 was met with a lot of criticism due to its buggy gameplay and controversial microtransactions. NBA 2K23 is the newest entry in the franchise, and it looks to right the wrongs of its predecessor. Does it succeed? Let's find out.
Graphics
The graphics in NBA 2K23 are some of the best in the franchise. The players look absolutely lifelike and the environments are top notch. There is a slight dip in quality when you play in the lower-resolution modes, but it is still an impressive game.
Gameplay
The gameplay in NBA 2K23 is much improved from previous entries in the franchise. The controls are much more responsive and the shooting mechanics feel more natural. there is still a bit of a learning curve when it comes to playing defense, but overall, the gameplay is much better than it was in NBA 2K21.
Multiplayer
The multiplayer in NBA 2K23 is pretty good. There are a variety of modes to choose from, and the servers seem to be stable. There is a decent amount of lag, but it is to be expected in an online game.
Replayability
The replayability in NBA 2K23 is pretty high. There are a ton of unlockables and rewards to keep you playing. The game also does a good job of keeping you coming back with daily and weekly challenges.
