The game is set in the city of Amami City, which is a city that is controlled by a megacorporation called Paradigm. The player takes on the role of a young man named Zen, who is a member of a group of hackers known as the Spookies. The Spookies are trying to uncover the secrets of Paradigm and their new project, which is called the Soul Hack.
