Review

Pokémon UNITE is a multiplayer online battle arena video game. The game is divided into two halves, with control points on each half. Players score points by defeating wild Pokémon and moving towards one of the control points. However, if the player gets hit by an attack while scoring, they will be interrupted, and must try again. At certain times in each match, stronger wild Pokémon will appear. Defeating one of these will provide the player which defeated it a unique effect based on which Pokémon was defeated. The player starts the match with relatively weak Pokémon, but the Pokémon may become stronger and gain access to new combat skills by winning individual battles within the match. Pokémon UNITE is the first multiplayer online battle arena game based on the Pokémon series. The game was announced on 24 June 2020, and is scheduled for release on 22 September 2021. The game was developed by TiMi Studio Group, with The Pokémon Company as the publisher. The game is scheduled to be released for the Nintendo Switch on 21 July 2021, with a release for Android and iOS scheduled for 22 September 2021.

Gameplay

Each Pokémon has its own unique Unite moves, which are combat skills unique to each Pokémon.
