Forza Horizon 5 is an upcoming racing video game developed by Playground Games and published by Xbox Game Studios. It is the fifth game in the Forza Horizon series and twelfth game in the Forza series. The game is set in a fictionalised representation of Mexico. It was released on 9 November 2021 for Microsoft Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Gameplay
In Forza Horizon 5, players take control of a customizable avatar to explore the map, engage in a variety of activities, and engage in a variety of races. The map has 11 biomes, each with a different environment and weather. The map is 50% larger than Forza Horizon 4, and it is the highest point in the Horizon series. Players can explore the open world freely, but they can also complete the campaign mode. Both the cars featured in the game and the player character can be extensively customised. Players are able to create custom liveries and tunes for cars, and perform engine swaps, drivetrain swaps, or install body kits on certain vehicles. The game has the largest map in the entire Forza Horizon series, being 50% larger than Forza Horizon 4. The map is set in a fictionalised representation of Mexico.
Graphics
Forza Horizon 5 has the most detailed car models in the Forza racing game series. Players can see the dirt and particles on cars, and can see the reflection on car paint. The game also has the largest map in the Forza Horizon series, while also having the highest point in the Horizon series.
Replayability
The game features over 500 licensed vehicles. Players can unlock new vehicles through the completion of Accolades. The game also has over 1,800 accolades for the player to achieve, giving it high replayability.
