Review

Destiny 2 is a massively multiplayer online first-person shooter action video game developed by Bungie and published by Activision. The game is a sequel to 2014's Destiny and was released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 6, 2017, with a Microsoft Windows version scheduled for release on October 24, 2017.

Gameplay

In this game, you have to choose one of three classes, Titan, Hunter or Warlock. Each class has its special skills and abilities. Titans are well known for their brute force, they are the strongest of the three, they are slow but can take lots of damage. Hunters are known for their agility, they are fast, they can jump high and far, but they are weak. Warlock is a mix between the two, they are a bit slower than the hunters but they can take a decent amount of damage. The story of the game is a bit different from the first one, there is no more Traveller, no more Ghost, the only one that is left is a robot called "Cayde-6", a dawnblade, a solar titan and an arcstrider.

Each of the classes has a different set of missions. However, some missions can be done by different classes, e.g. Titan is the only class that can do the mission "Homecoming" in the European Dead Zone. In this game, there are more planets to explore, the European Dead Zone, Titan, Io, Nessus, and the moon.

Graphics

Graphics in the game are top-tier, especially the cut scenes. The game uses a deferred rendering approach with physically based rendering. This means that the game engine takes into account the physical laws of light. The sun is bright, the moon illuminates the shadows, and no matter what is happening in the game the colors are rendered perfectly.

Destiny 2 graphics are not limited to the visual effects. The game has a seamless open world, which is not common in FPS games. The game also allows players to see what is happening in the environment, in real time.

Replayability

The game is full of content to keep the player occupied for a long period of time. There are many reasons to replay the game, especially for people who are interested in the lore.

The game is very rewarding, not only because of the loot, but also because of the story. There are many missions that you can do with your friends, either in the same fire team, or in completely different fire teams.

Conclusion

Destiny 2 is a great game, it is much better than the first game. The game has a great story, great graphics and great gameplay. However, it is not without its flaws, the game is online-only, which means that there is no single-player campaign, and the game lacks content, however, this is already being worked on.
