The Epic Games Store free games offer is active every Thursday until the end of this year. You have a great opportunity to try from one to three unique games every week. The giveaway starts on the official Epic Games Store at 8 AM PT and 11 AM ET. After creating a new account with two-factor authentication, you will be able to download the games you are interested in.

A space addiction

Epic offers a free download of a remarkable PC game called Rebel Galaxy. It is available from August 12th to 19th, 2021. Although usually, there are two free games each week, this time seems to be an exception.

Rebel Galaxy, developed by Double Damage Games and launched in 2015, is known for being a fun and arcade-like space trading simulator with combat mechanics. Here, players have the opportunity to become Space Pirates, exploring, gaining influence, discovering artifacts, and all of this in the open galaxy where players can explore a huge number of planets.

  • Yooka-Laylee is an open-world mascot-action platformer originally from Playtonic. This indie game can offer you big glorious worlds with vibrant textures and exciting adventures. The action is led by charismatic characters: a chameleon Yooka and a bat Laylee.
  • Void Bastards is a single-player science-fiction strategy-FPS game. This strategy-shooter with a wonderfully unique comic book art style aims to test your ability to hold a gun and think outside the box. In this game, your mission is to lead the unfortunate Void Bastards out of the Sargasso Nebula.
